Meet Janine
Beach Lifestyle Living was originally founded in 2008 by two sisters Nicole and Janine. Nicole a Yallingup local since her early 20’s and Janine a gypsy soul well-travelled in the preceding 14 years before returning to Australia and settling into the new and beautiful life in Dunsborough, a small coastal holiday town.
A passion for homewares, fashion and travel
The business was started as a result of both their passion for homewares, fashion and their mutual love of travel! Global sourcing from Morocco, India, Indonesia, Italy, New Zealand and numerous other far flung destinations has kept them busy with exotic adventures and their passports full of exciting stamps from far away places.
We have been opening our doors every day of the year, bar Christmas day, for over a decade now and our love affair with the beautiful things has never dimmed!
Rugs from Turkey, furniture from Indonesia, bowls from Morocco all were lovingly selected to make their journey back to the small town of Dunsborough in the South West corner of Western Australia.
Our fashion ranges are predominately by Australian Designers with a couple of European Labels thrown in for good measure.
At Beach Lifestyle Living we love and seek to support our local artisans who make gorgeous candles & soaps, pottery and fashion. We are surrounded by so much talent in the region!
We are surrounded by stunning beaches, wineries and art galleries, which in turn makes this holiday destination not only a very special boutique shopping experience but a wonderful adventure for the whole family. We have in the past 7 years branched into holiday home management and have a fine stable of stunning holiday homes in the region with some also in the Perth, for our customers to stay and then shop and play. Janine is now the sole owner of Beach Lifestyle Living & Beach Lifestyle Holiday Homes, whilst Nicole has focused her fashion brilliance on her beautiful store next door MILC, a land mark in the boutique fashion shopping world. Janine’s wonderful husband Glen has taken the baton as traveling partner for sourcing journeys and can often be found “lifting heavy things” for the store and our gorgeous customers!
